Applications are open for the Standard Chartered Foundation’s Women in Tech Accelerator, which supports impact-creating, tech-enabled, women-led startups in building thriving businesses across Africa, the Middle East, and Pakistan.
Operated in partnership with Village Capital, the Women in Tech Accelerator provides participants with strategic guidance, technical assistance, and shared learning frameworks, ensuring founders receive high-quality, locally tailored support.
In its first year, the program distributed over US$550,000 in grants to 21 women-led startups, with those ventures reaching nearly 16,000 new customers, creating more than 430 jobs, and increasing revenues by US$2.7 million.
This year, more than US$600,000 in grants will be distributed across 12 markets, including Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia.
Applications are open here until June 30.
