The All Africa Youth Forum (AAYF) is pleased to announce the appointment of ItopaKing David as the Project Coordinator of the AAYF Future Tech Youth Acceleration Program (AFYAP).
The appointment is part of AAYF’s continued commitment to strengthening youth leadership, digital innovation, technology development, entrepreneurship, and access to emerging opportunities for young people across Africa.
ItopaKing David is a Digital Innovator, Consultant and Software Engineer with professional experience spanning technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, programme coordination, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. His professional profile demonstrates more than a decade of entrepreneurial and technology-related experience.
He currently serves as Strategy and Content Lead at Kogi Innovation Hub, where he develops programmes for entrepreneurs, innovators and startups and coordinates strategic sessions, partnerships and collaborations aimed at advancing the technology ecosystem.
He has also held technology and leadership responsibilities involving digital platforms, technology systems, civic-support solutions, and programmes involving public- and private-sector stakeholders. His professional expertise includes software engineering, management, creativity, negotiation, critical thinking and leadership.
His New Responsibility
As Project Coordinator of AFYAP, ItopaKing David will provide strategic and operational coordination for the programme, working closely with AAYF leadership, young innovators, technology professionals, institutions, development partners, private-sector organisations and other relevant stakeholders.
His responsibilities will include supporting programme implementation, coordinating project activities, facilitating partnerships and collaborations, and contributing to the development of practical opportunities through technology and innovation.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Abubakar Bamai, President of the All Africa Youth Forum, said:

The AAYF Future Tech Youth Acceleration Program (AFYAP) is envisioned as a youth-focused platform that will support the development of technology skills, innovation, entrepreneurship and digital leadership among young people, while creating pathways for collaboration and participation in Africa’s emerging technology ecosystem.
AAYF believes that Africa’s young population must be positioned not merely as consumers of technology, but as creators, innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders capable of developing solutions to Africa’s challenges.
The Forum congratulates ItopaKing David on his appointment and looks forward to his leadership and contribution towards making AFYAP a transformative platform for Africa’s next generation of technology leaders.
