Colis a logistics startup in Morocco expands internationally with 1st agency in Brussels

Moroccan cross-border logistics startup Colis has announced the opening of its first international logistics agency, establishing its physical presence in Brussels, Belgium.

Founded in 2022 by Issam Darui, Colis helps individuals and companies send items to, and receive them from, six European countries, and has delivered more than 55,000 parcels in the last two years.

The startup closed a US$300,000 pre-seed funding round in October 2024 to strengthen its presence at home and expand into West Africa. This milestone marks the company’s first footprint in Europe and its evolution into a multinational enterprise.

With the Brussels agency, Colis now combines partner locations with its own infrastructure, enhancing operational control, service quality, and delivery speed.

“This is not just a new destination in our network. It is a strategic milestone that strengthens our operations, accelerates our growth, and reflects our long-term international vision,” said Issam Darui, founder and CEO of Colis. “Brussels is the foundation of a much bigger international roadmap, and this expansion represents our commitment to connecting people and businesses across continents.”
