Egyptian startup MoneyHash, the leading payment orchestration platform in emerging and global markets, has partnered Bahrain-based payment service provider and acquirer EazyPay to strengthen access to payment gateways in Bahrain for regional and global merchants.
Founded in 2021 by Nader Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid, MoneyHash has developed a proprietary payment orchestration platform and end-to-end payment operating system. After a successful beta launch in 2022, attracting key players in the region such as Foodics, Rain, and Tamatem, the startup launched its enterprise suite last October, targeting large enterprises.
The startup, which secured US$5.2 million in pre-Series A funding earlier this year as it prepares for global expansion, has been expanding its international operations recently, with key partnerships agreed in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq. It has now done the same in Bahrain, partnering with EazyPay.
This partnership marks a new step in MoneyHash’s strategy to deepen its presence in Bahrain, building on its existing network of payment providers in the market. By working with EazyPay, the first Central Bank of Bahrain-licensed PSP within its ecosystem, MoneyHash strengthens its ability to support merchants with regulated, locally trusted infrastructure while maintaining consistent payment operations across markets.
By collaborating with EazyPay, MoneyHash continues to build on its approach of enabling market entry through trusted, locally regulated infrastructure, while strengthening its ability to support merchants operating in Bahrain. Through this partnership, businesses can align with a licensed local acquirer that offers a wide range of payment acceptance capabilities, including POS acquiring and broader access to payment gateways in Bahrain, alongside emerging digital payment options.
“Growth in markets like Bahrain requires more than access, it requires control over how payments are routed, optimized, and scaled,” said Abdelrazik. “Through our partnership with EazyPay, we’re enabling businesses to operate with greater flexibility locally, while building the infrastructure needed to scale across the region.”
Working with partners like EazyPay, MoneyHash enables businesses to expand into Bahrain while maintaining consistent payment operations across their broader regional footprint, without the need to rebuild their payment stack for each market. This approach provides access to payment gateways in Bahrain and supports interoperability with digital banks in Bahrain, helping merchants operate with greater flexibility across evolving payment ecosystems.
